Electro-Anachronistic, Neo-Victorian, Gaslightesque, Post-Dickensian, Vernesian, Clockwork, Grunge-a Din, Steampunk Metal Sculpture
Cory had posted a few of these metal sci-fi sculptures on the main page earlier this week—this Stormtrooper
, for one—and some of the commentors mentioned that they'd seen lots of similar pieces in shops around Bangkok. While I can't say for certain this shop, called "Yumi's Modals," is the source for all of them, they certainly have a wide array of similar designs, including pieces from Star Wars
, and more.
Some of them, like the Spider-Man table and chairs set
, are downright creepy. And some of them, of course, aren't anachronistic at all, just made of metal and parts. (Others, like this droid, clearly look as if they could be powered by hateful vapours
