HomeHero Fire Extinguisher

home_hero_extinguisher.jpg

The “HomeHero” fire extinguisher forgoes the traditional red for a sleek white in an attempt, they attest, to encourage keeping it out on the counter, close at hand. I can’t help but wonder if most people, conditioned to look for the red, might not see the HomeHero in a panic.

No price yet, but it appears to be part of a full line of home fire prevention products.

I was just able to recently purchase the homehero at my local long island home depot!! very affordable at $24. and the design, in my opinion, is more attractive than the traditional kidde models.

They’ve sold traditional-shaped Kidde fire extinguishers in white for a long time. I have one in my kitchen, hanging off the side of the cabinets.. This one has the (dis)advantage of looking like an oversized pepper mill.
