How good this “Ultimate Display Speaker Shelf” sounds is anybody’s guess, but it’s only eighty bucks and looks better than every other iPod dock on the market. A winner!

They do look great, but they won’t look quite as good once there is an electrical cord running down the wall. Assuming they are not battery powered. Still very nice, love multipurpose home furnishings.
Looks better than every other iPod dock on the market? Sorry, but the Apple Hi-Fi is still the best looking iPod dock on the market. It might not have a shelf, but it is loud enough to amplify a small theatre.
The Apple Hifi does not look better than this. It looks like a huge hunk of white plastic, hopelessly out of place in most modern comfy home decor.
Now, if you’re going for the 60′s retro-future fiberglass chair look, it blends right in!
“looks better” doesn’t mean the same as “sounds better.” Unless you’re on LSD.
This would make an awesome DIY project however.
