Lovely LEGO Silhouette Advertisements
These are four separate full-page LEGO ads from 2006; it's the first time I've seen them. They work better one at a time, I think, but there's a certain something to seeing them all in reduced form here. LEGO and (faux) pixel art go together like chocolate and (faux) peanut butter.

The last one seems a bit jarring. It may just be my impression but hasn't Lego steered clear of modern military themes?
Ahhh.
As an adult it took a second to downshift, but it was well worth it.
Thanks. :)
reminds me of this badass original poster for phantom menace...

I created a desktop background using the four images.

Please Lego, don't sue me.
I think they evoke the imagination that's an essential part of using Lego blocks.
I didn't have many of the fancy special-purpose bits as a kid, but in my mind, my clunky creations cast an image in my mind's eye as real as the shadows cast by the blocks in these posters.
Reminds me of the classic Lego ad, "How do you know this is an ambulance?"
