Mitsubishi Fuso Eco-D Concept Dump Truck
This year's Tokyo Auto Show is turning out to be one of the most exciting in years, with tons of great concept cars (not to mention the introduction of the Nissan GT-R). The latest: This Fuso Canter "Eco-D" concept dump truck from Mitsubishi. The Fuso is one of the great truck brands of the world, used for a variety of purposes.
The Fuso has been on my short list of "To Be Converted Into Mobile Reporting Rig" vehicles for a while; unlike others on the list, such as Pinzgauer, I could actually afford a Fuso. But now I want it to be this Fuso.

I love how the Japanese are so good at making vehicles that look like toys - not an interpretation of a toy or an homage to a toy like U.S. vehicle makers.
Without a reference in the pic, it's hard to tell if it's 10 inches long or 14 feet long.
Brilliant!

That "gorgeous 'concept dump truck'" will perfectly match my hand-painted porcelain trash cans, and it will look just as wonderfully pristine after being in use for a few days.
You know, I have never, ever wanted to own a truck until I saw this image. Now I have truck envy.
That would make one HECK of a nice Transformer...
