ECO Pneumo: Bamboo Dry Sacks
The ECO Pneumo Dry Sacks, designed to keep your clothing and other personals dry when you're out in the field, are made from a non-dyed, single-coated "bamboo-based fabric" along with a recycled aluminum purge valve. I have no idea how well they work; I just think things made out of bamboo are interesting.
They again, they're priced from $30 to $45, depending on size. Seems like a lot of money for a dry bag. Maybe someone could make one out of cheap, disposable plastic?

Camping = trash bags. Double layer them and seal them good. However, bamboo is pretty awesome.
When I was in the Army I always packed in zip lock bags when going into the field. They're relatively cheap and come in lots of different sizes. The heaver 'freezer' bags are tough enough to last for many weeks of field duty (but it's easy to take extra, just in case).
I still use zip locks - when the family goes to Disney World, I always put my wallet/tickets/etc in sandwich sized zip locks.
Dry bags are more for boats, so if you get wet you get dry undies afterwards. Oh and guess food, matches, other important stuff. And I think these bamboo ones are about the same price as the smelly rubber kind.
