Gadget Bottle: Water Bottle with Nest for Your Stuff

gadgetbottle.jpgThe "Gadget Bottle" is a plastic water bottle with a recess in the front to hold a phone or MP3 player, held firmly by a rubber strap. The idea is to allow easy access to your gadgets while working out without having to put them in your pocket or carry them around separately.

You could do the same with a rubber band and another bottle, but the rectangular recess probably does help keep things in place. Plus they're only charging a $8.25 plus $2.50 shipping, so it's hard to smack them around too much, especially when I could see some people finding this quite handy. (Bonus: I'm all about reusable water bottles these days.) Good luck, BevyTech, LLC!

Oooh, water and electronics! Now that sounds like a match made in heaven. ;-)

Around Purdue, they sell a similar bottle. The major difference is instead of a rubber band, they have a clear plastic window that fits over the recess. This lets people carry their keys, phone, ID, and water in one nice neat package. I think they run around $5-$10 here.

Reminds me of when one of the lifeguards on Baywatch, Logan I think, added a compartment in the rescue buoy for a first aid kit. Not sure if he got a patent out of it.

I think condensation would rule out any electronics being kept there. Unless I'm missing something.

Finally! I've been looking for a more dumbshit way to get my phone wet than dropping it in the toilet.
