Bacteria Figurines Based on Moyashimon Manga


These bacteria figurines are apparently based on characters in the manga/anime series Moyashimon (a.k.a. “Tales of Agriculture”, in which a student at an agricultural university discovers he can communicate with bacteria and other microorganisms.

They are very likely available only in Japan.

    Where else but in Japan could a series named Tales of Agriculture succeed? Manga is probably one of the clearest examples of the Long Tail effect in the world.
