Considering how relatively limited the selection for minifigs are, Brendan Mauro did a great job emulating the characters from Valve's Team Fortress 2.
I'm still playing Team Fortress 2 myself. Wish they'd come out with a few more maps, but I still adore it.

Not enough maps for team fortress 2? You need to find better servers.
If running a server it is quite easy to use custom maps and you can even create your own ones. Just like all of the other valve online games, it comes with an extremely limited number of maps but give out tools to make more. You can even create more maps for portal if interested.
The problem being that most custom maps aren't worth playing on. There isn't a single "must-play" custom map out there yet, though there are some passable ones among the vast number of complete duds.
At least it looks like we will see some new Valve maps in the next few months, since it is hard to predict when the mapping community will get any good.
Hasn't LEGO jumped the shark yet?
Moon, I don't believe so, but there are motorcycle and shark elements, so it could be done.
