The Gerber knife and multitool deal is sweet, ordered one.

I also forsook my roomba recently. I bought a Kenmore upright from Sears that does a hell of a job. I’ll buy another Roomba when I can reasonably expect it to pick up pet hair like an upright and not die/need repairs after a few years – love the concept, bought one and loved it at first, but they need to up the standards a bit.

I went ahead and got this one because they specifically said it’s made for pet hair, so we’ll see.

Argh, though. I spent like $40 just shipping my two old ones out to be recycled!

I got the Gerber set a few months ago when Amazon had a similar deal. The Clutch is pretty good for a small multitool, but the Evo Jr. has turned out to be the best knife I’ve carried.

although half the people i’ve talked to love their roombas, half say it’s a piece of crap… but i ordered it anyway since i convinced my wife it’s useful around xmas, and she’s been bugging me to get one ever since.
