Useless egg cracking device

Wp-Content Uploads Egg-Cracker-300X292 Who would spend $7 to buy an egg-cracking gadget (other than people with a disability that prevented them from cracking eggs by hand)?

However, when combined with the much-more-awesome but equally-useless Ronco Inside-the-Shell Egg Scrambler ($19.95), making breakfast could become as fun as a game of Mousetrap. Link

I hate getting egg yolk all over my hands, which happens all the time. If this contraption can do that, it might be worth the $7.

Man, this gadget may be the final missing piece in my breakfast machine, with music by Danny Elfman!

This really complicates an already simple process. Though I have to give points to the inventor for his ingenuity, as it were.

I can see a market for this. Lots of people I know always manage to get bits of shell into the bowl when they crack an egg on the edge and if this eliminates little scraps of eggshell from my food then I'm in favor of it. Cant see a reason for mockery here.

I've been able to crack and dispense eggs cleanly ever since I was 12, but my mother-in-law still can't seem to get the hang of it. And she was even a short-order cook for a bit! Some people just can't do it, so this would be very handy for them.

I was very impressed, though, when I saw the guys (and gals) and BD's Mongolian BBQ crack and empty an egg using nothing but their wooden stir sticks. Amazing. No shell in the food, either!!

Isn't this what hands are for?

Could be awesome for crackin' in bulk, like for a restaurant or bakery. Hell, it'd be even better if you could have an egg loader or clip for it.

Chef, I was told there's a 7 day waiting period for the egg cracking clip.
