The Xbox 360 will not transmogrify into a slick but faintly unrealistic 3D-rendered fantasy in 2009, according to manufacturer Microsoft. From Engadget:

Sony denied that there was a psp redesign in the works every hour until it was officially announced. It's within the interests of microsoft to deny it; maybe some people who would otherwise hold out will by one now, and because we're all zombies then buy this thing when it, covertly, comes out. Maybe they are telling the truth though. Maybe.
