A fashionable solar bag, depending on how you feel about buckles

Designer Ennio Capasa has developed the “Solar Energy Purse,” a handbag whose functions will be familiar to we the geeks: it has a solar panel built in which can recharge portable devices using a variety of plugs. And fortunately there’s a battery inside, too; I’ve come to think that practical portable solar needs batteries to really be useful.

Of course, it looks like it was made from cut-up bits from your grandfather’s old belts and velour lounge wear, but it’s the thought that counts.
