The “PowerFilm Foladable Solar Charger” does just what you’d expect, although unlike some other foldable solar panels like the Brunton Solaris USB, it forgoes a universal connector for a four-slot AA/AAA battery charger. That’s potentially very handy for those who use gadgets that don’t use custom-shaped or internal rechargeables, but it’s a pity they didn’t toss a USB connector on there as well, especially with a £65 price. That would probably have required building more intelligence into the unit — something most of the small solar chargers don’t seem to want to trouble with.
