Play games, manage empires and buy iPods in the cold glow of your creativity-conditioning table of power

s_QALrT_5784.jpg For Jason Chang, "S.P.I.C.E." stands for Stimulating Play Inspires Creative Expression, and is the name given to his design for an interactive table game thingy.
SPICE is an ideation game that sparks creativity in strategic project development by integrating brainstorming processes and the concept of play. It engages people in a game activity that aims to optimize creativity by conditioning one's perspective to identify patterns or relationships in random concepts.

The design itself is cool, but isn't there something creepily managerial about that blurb? When it comes to our simulated world of happy workers bathed in the cold white glow of a product that does not exist, we do not play, ladies and gentlemen. Instead, we integrate the concept of it with brainstorming processes tied to our optimally-conditioned pareidolia glands.
