iPhone replacement battery kit for just $7.30

Discount Chinese crap vendor DealExtreme.com is selling these iPhone battery replacement kits, complete with 1400mAh battery and plastic pry bar, for just $7.29, shipped. Compare to Apple’s out-of-warranty battery replacement costs of $85 and it’s quite a deal — provided it works. (And why wouldn’t it? People have been replacing iPod batteries for years without issue.)

Yeah!! for only 7.29 you can risk shorting out your IPHONE or giving yourself a shock/burn from an improper removal/install!! Woohoo!

  2. GregLondon says:

People who repeatedly poke their eye out trying to use a screwdriver should not attempt to replace their iPhone battery.

I’ve actually used their ipod mini replacement battery twice. It works about as well as the original, and though it was actually physically larger, I managed to cram it in there anyway.
