I had one of these a few years ago, except it was a CD/cassette/AM/FM without the Ipod dock. It was gorgeous. It fell from a table just above knee-high and broke into about 75 pieces. I miss it terribly, and I wish it had been a little sturdier.

I work on consumer electronics professionally, and
I have repaired a few units of the previous version of this steampunkish device.

It does indeed look cool on the outside, kinda cheaper than you might hope on the inside.

But just think how much it would cost to be both stylish and sturdy.
