ecal-julien-renault-4.jpg

The feeble glow from these hand-blown glass lamps, designed by students from the University of Art and Design Lausanne, won’t be much use for anything other than looking pretty. In the power-poor times to follow in the zombiecaust’s wake, however, they’ll be perfect for writing another testament to prosperity by without attracting the brain-munchers’ attentions.

Either that, or they’ll be on Ikea’s shelves by Christmas.
