Sega's latest planetarium likes it wet

homestar-spa-sega-toys.jpgIf you've been holding out on buying a portable planetarium because none of the available ones were water-resistant, Sega Toys just made your day. Its latest model, the HomeStar Spa, will be launched later this month, and just loves humidity.

It works simply by projecting light from within, through a mask placed over the appropriately-spherical device. When you're tired of gazing at a blurry simulation of a sky you'll never see in your urban light-coffin, make it project abstract flowers or kaleidoscopic patterns instead.
