Collapsible shelving design

PLoP is a collapsible set of extensible, modular shelves weighing 1.8kg. Designed by Joyce Hong, the idea is to make furniture used by student as portable as they are: the addition of multiple additional points of mechanical failure suggest this design’s final trick: it’s recyclable!

    I’d use ‘em. Well-enough made from actual wood / metal / substance other than pressed sawdust, they should hold up a few years with minimal collapsing. They’re pretty pretty, too!
