Samsung Instinct praised

Sprint and Samsing’s iClone is getting good reviews, just in the nick of time. Here’s a few lines from Gizmodo:

That’s what the Samsung Instinct is … the best feature-phone option for people who don’t mind playing in Sprint’s walled garden of services, but don’t want to feel like a chump. I’ve been playing with it nonstop for days now, and it continues to impress me.

To say it’s going to be an uphill struggle for Sprint to sell this is an understatement, but its basic strategy – to pitch it as a better-mousetrap iPhone clone rather than pretend it’s something other than what it is – shows how it’s still the only network to really have a grip on why Apple succeeded. Shame it’s about 6 months too late.
