Stan Winston, monster maker, passes on

stanwinston.jpgAICN is reporting that Stan Winston, legendary creature design and special effects engineer, has passed away. Most recently his shop built the practical effects — the suit — for Iron Man. Winston also put his stamp on movies like The Terminator, Aliens, Jurassic Park, and Edward Scissorhands. He was 62.
