Sci-fi style USB tube speaker outputs blue LED glow

If you're going to use a USB speaker, the modus operandi seems to be to strive for tacky novelty.These USB Light Tube Speakers by Brando, then, are a refreshing change of pace: the blue electric glow is novel but not at all tacky. I could see this perched atop a monitor in some sort of retro-futuristic computer mod. The audio is inputer via cable through the usual audio out nodule, where as the pulsing blue and stereo power t is fueled by USB. At $22, there are far, far uglier cheap speakers you can get, that sound worse and don't look half as neat.
