History of water pistols soaked with innovation

supersoakerhitroy.jpgThe Super Soaker, introduced in 1989, already has a long history of redesign and refinement. Enthusiast site iSoaker has charts tracking the evolution of the backyard battler's weapon of choice.

I recommend a handheld sprayer. They're cheap, easy to find, and hold plenty of water. Well pumped, it'll shoot about 20 feet, but that might be hackable by carefully expanding the tip? I use mine for killing garden bugs, but can still spray people since I just use Dr Bronner's and water for that (about 1:16 kills almost anything surprisingly quickly). Just don't use it on people if you ever use real poison in it, of course.
