iPhone App Store to launch Thursday instead of Friday?

Forbes‘ Mary Jane Irwin has to from three distinct sources that Apple will be making the iPhone 2.0 firmware, which includes the App Store full of third-party content, available for download at noon Eastern tomorrow — the same time as the iPhone first goes on sale in New Zealand. [Forbes]

Update: And according to this story from The Underminer’s Apple Weblog, iTunes 7.7 — which could include the 2.0 firmware — could be out as soon as this evening. [TUAW.com]
