• Light Bulb – The "Million Lights Project" is giving away compact fluorescent light bulbs to a million people for some reason. [Slickdeals] [See also: Spambox]

• Head Unit – Boss In-Dash DVD/MP3/CD player with 3.5-inch LCD screen for $184, shipped. Not a killer deal, but I didn't know these sorts of things were so cheap. Don't watch movies and drive, though, sheesh. [Dealnews]

• Mosquito Killer – Today's Woot! is a two-pack of Rush Hampton Mosquito Catchers for $55. These use electricity, not propane.

Between all of the dashboard head units for turn-by-turn GPS navigation (e.g. TomTom), and GPS-enabled (via DB-9 serial port) "BearTracker" point of interest and "dangerous crossing" / "dangerous road" (i.e. speedtrap warning systems) -- which could be shared via WiFi and/or WWAN (or tethered Bluetooth) -- I really look forward to when these companies take the embedded Linux CarPC concept to the commercially viable next level by using Google Android to do all of those things in the ISO 7736 / DIN form factor.
