A surprisingly well done portable SNES

DSC01315.jpg

An excellent portable Super Nintendo hack by Ben Heck* forumling Life of Brian. It was built on commission and ended up proving so difficult that Brian decided not to use this particular case again, but the end result is wonderful: a portable retro console that isn't just the guts of an SNES duct taped to the back of a piece of plywood.

SNES portable number three [Ben Heck Forums]

* - The other night, I had a dream that I was introduced to Ben Heck, who proved to be typically sandy-haired specimen of the 'Ben' series model of humanoids. "Heck? That's an odd name," I remarked, to which Oneiric Heck blithely responded: "Well, I changed it from 'Fuck.'" I woke up chuckling.

Meh, I'd rather use a SNES emulator on the DS...

Very purty, but where's the left and right shoulder buttons? On the back?

I know it kind of ruins the joke, but his last name is actually Heckendorn.

Haha, wow. Life of Brian is bringing the black one (see in link) to OVGE this weekend, and I was considering going as it is only 45 mins away. What a coincidence!
