"AV" T-shirt covers your back in plugs and ports

avteethreadless.jpg

Although it commits the sin of putting the most interesting graphics on the back, the "AV" T-shirt by Olly Moss must be forgiven considering its subject matter: a full range of audio and video inputs spread wide across your back. It's cute, but I must resist, even at $20 — I'd never be able to stop thinking about how much better it would look on the front of the shirt. Plus I wouldn't be able to practice plugging in component cables to my nipples.

Only two HDMI ports? How 2005. I bet he's only 720p too.

"it commits the sin of putting the most interesting graphics on the back"

Excuse me? I happen to like having
interesting graphics on the back of my
shirt and not on the front.

How long before someone makes a T-Shirt with actual AV inputs on it?

The connectors are _usually_ on the back of consumer A/V gear; putting 'em on the back of the shirt is necessary.

What's needed is a pro version.

Olly Moss is one of my favourite Threadless designers. He also did In Case Of Zombies and Ticket To Ride.

Does the front have a blinking green "12:00"?

why don't you just wear it backwards?

graphics on the back is way classier. If this were all on the front it would look kinda like a cyborg puked on itself.

I fail to see how cyborg puke is in any way not classy.

Those of us with long beards LIKE T-shirts with the art on the back.

My gripe about this shirt is certainly not about the plugs being on the back (where they certainly belong) but the lack of anything much on the front.

What it needs is some kind of display. Splashed with a few random buttons and perhaps some kind shiny fake logo branding.

Oh and a nob on the right nipple. That way you still get to play with it.

...what no comment about the 'straight' button?

this is great.

oh, and it totally belongs on the Back... unless you typically put your components in backwards at home, than for you, you can wear the shirt backwards.

All the graphix on the back are OK as long as there is one lone set of composite (A/V) inputs on the front at the bottom with the label "Front" written under them (or maybe a flap hiding them that can be moved to reveal the front inputs.
