At this point, what Canon needs to emphasize the most, is noise free high ISO shooting, as that has what has helped tip things Nikons way.

ugh, I am sick of the crop factor already, forget the pixel density, I want a full size sensor! Hell, the canon lens lineup is not designed for these small sensors, not the good ones anyways.

Always having to deal with crop sucks balls, especially when all I wanna do is be able to use a 50mm as a walk around, too bad it becomes a tele-photo on a 1.6x crop instead of a normal.

The wider fixed lenses aren't half the quality of the popular 50mm 1.4, and just don't get the normal thing right.

Canon come out with an acceptable normal s lens designed for the crop at L quality and maybe I'll be happy.

oh and once again not even worth upgrading from a 20d, spend your money on lenses not the newest body.

At least get a 50mm 1.8 for $70, drop that shitty ef-s 18-55mm already.

I have 3 Canon 40Ds. Now that I have seen these specs, I will sell them off and buy at least one Nikon. Canon has lost me. They were making steady progress with continuous burst speeds. The 40D can shoot 625 frames in 100 seconds at 6.5 frames, if you set the menu for minimum file size. With this huge 15.1 sensor, they have increased the file size so much that it now will operate slower than the 40D. This trend kept me buying Canons. Recently I bought 2 Sony Z7U professional HD camcorders that can take Nikon SLR fixed focal length prime lenses. I will now look to Nikon to give me a fast burst rate. Shame Canon, you blew it on this one. They need to offer at least 7
f.p.s., and at least a couple of hundred frames
per burst, with the smallest file size. Going backwards,in burst speed, doesn't make it!
