Reuters gets snarky about Steve Jobs’ lack of death

It’s already been changed on the live site, but my feed reader cached this wonderful headline from Reuters regarding the most recent Apple keynote: “Alive Jobs unveils Apple’s “thinnest” iPod”

Not the funniest joke in the world, but hilarious to me that for at least a little while today that was what was out on the wires.

It amazes me how obsessed people are in this country with physical appearence. From TMZ to Boing Boing, everyone is so ready to talk about celebrity weight control more than most issues.

“It amazes me how obsessed people are in this country with physical appearence” this statement is in total contrast with the rampant obesity in US…

  4. the Other michael says:

undead unfake steve jobs has a better ring but maybe too unwieldy sigh

  5. artbot says:

One man’s “trim” is another man’s “gaunt”.

  6. clueless in brooklyn says:

  7. Anonymous says:

This isn’t celebrity obsession – Jobs looks like he’s wasting – and that’s with the 10-15 lbs. that the camera adds.
He’s got the slightly distended belly, significant fat and muscle loss in his upper body and face, and the telltale AZT butt (noticeable loss of muscle volume and tone). It’s really quite shocking from just a year ago.

  8. OM says:

“…This word just in: Steve Jobs is still alive.”

  9. Halloween Jack says:

Zombie Jobs will have “one more thing”… forever.
