Morning tech deals highlights

GPS – Garmin nuvi 760 with a 4.3-inch screen and Bluetooth for $300, shipped. About $50 off. [Slickdeals]

DualShock – Sony DualShock 3 wireless controller for the PlayStation 3 for $49, shipped. That's only about $6 off, but every bit helps when purchasing the controller that should have shipped with the PS3 in the first place. [Dealhack]

Laptop Sleeve – Chelsey Henry is giving away free laptop sleeves. Don't know why. Don't care! They look pretty sharp. [Bargainist]

MemoryStick – 4GB Lexar MemoryStick Pro Duo for $21, shipped. This is the kind that goes in the PSP. [Dealnews]

Dolly Parton – Today's Amazon MP3 deal is Dolly Parton's 2001 classic "Little Sparrow" for $3. Recommended for certain. [Amazon]

Tire Gauge – Accutire Pistol Grip digital tire gauge for $2, plus shipping, but it's at Amazon so orders over $25 (or Prime) ship free. A healthy tire is an efficient tire! [Dealnews]

MiniDV Camcorder – Today's Woot is a refurbished JVC MiniDV Camcorder with 34x Optical Zoom and Dual Recording for $135, shipped.

The Bargainist is pretty explicit that they don't have an actual image of the freebie sleeves, so it's hard to judge how sharp they will actually look.

Regarding the Accutire MS-4400B Pistol Grip Digital Tire Gauge:

The item is not $2, it's $6.98 + shipping (This item is not eligible for Amazon Prime)

I know it's DealHack making the claim, but BB is echoing it:

Amazon actually has the DualShock 3 for $46 shipped! You just have to "click to view price."

Not like I need it though, since I currently lack:

1. Same-couch multiplayer games

2. Friends presently residing in this state

You have to register for that laptop bag, just so everyone knows. I did it ~5 hours after this was posted, and they said they were sending one.

There is no opt-out option for their emails, or anything like that. I wonder how badly I'll be bombarded by 3rd party solicitors just because I wanted a fee laptop bag.

Signed up for the sleeve but realize they don't ask what size or anything unless that comes as a separate step. Still, free is good. As for the fear of spam, it allowed me to use the gmail + symbol hack so you should be able to filter those easily if you start getting anything.

Just pay the $5 for a microSD-to-MS Duo adapter and reuse all of your old microSD cards as you've upgraded your mobile phone, or what have you. Think of when the 16GB microSD cards hit in October; what will you do with your old 8GB one?
