You deserve a medal for your many victories

A close look at Supermandolini's medals reveals a simple fact: almost every reader of BBG has earned one or both! Still, you'll have to pony up €18 for each.

Nice. But where's the ginormous Dreamcast medal?

I'd love a mouse and keyboard one as I've done much more gaming on a PC.

-or maybe a Game Boy or GBA SP one... :)

Now I just need to dig out my British military garb and grow a thick, ridiculous mustache.

My user name appears in the Gears of War 2 Video.

Does that make me eligible for a silver xbox star?

I believe there are actually quite a few websites where you can submit designs and they'll make pretty much any medal design you want.

"Affordable" !? its 18 euros... i don't know about you, but $27 before shipping isn't exactly what i call affordable... sure, they are hand made and have a "gold finish", but i think the console vets have paid enough as it were and these should come quite a bit cheaper.. more along the lines of $10USD Shipped.

...Sorry, but when I see "8-Bit", I think 2600 or Colecovision, not one of those Nintendo jobs.

Lame, unoriginal design (derivative of old german medals, minus 2 points for reichland fetishism), over priced and looks like its only wearable for a photo op (not even made as a real medal with a cloth ribbon, just a once piece stamp out with stick pin fastener).

If you see your gaming buddy wearing this on a t-shirt, smack him right on the medal to "congratulate" him. The gasp of pain as that pin back goes into the flesh will be totally worth it!

@16 I'll take you off my gift list then.

My 8-bit gaming wife loves them, and will soon be sporting one on her geekpunk jacket. Thanks for the post!

The NES pin should play music after entering the Konami code, or at least give you 30 lives.
