“Dot Matrix Revolution”, a pixel art history of computing

A history of computing and the internet, done up in blocky pixel chiptunes music video. This is so up my alley I had to sell my car. Be warned, though: it’s more style than substance. Just kick back and enjoy it.

The Cloud looks like the Mana Fortress.

  3. superbrothers says:

Industry insiders and people ‘in the know’ are describing this film as ‘hideous’ and are connecting the film’s runaway success to societal effects of the worldwide economic meltdown.

Apparently intended first and foremost as educational material, this film has since been dismissed as ‘inacurrate’ and ‘misleading’.

    THE CLOUD = Mana Fortress.

@Superbrothers – Nevertheless, Dot Matrix Revolution is the runaway, boffo, blockbuster, box office, smash hit of of late September.

    Bravo.
