Devicescape Easy Wi-Fi comes to iPhone; useful for travelers

devicescape_iphone.jpg

Devicescape has released a $2 iPhone App that automatically connects you to Wi-Fi hotspots when you’re away from home. Not that fancy on its own, but its trick is to store your passwords and other login information and to cross-reference it with for-pay partner networks, giving you a fighting chance of getting online without an additional charge if, say, your T-Mobile Wi-Fi login gives you access to some other company’s airport lounge offering.

That said, I’ve not used it, so proceed with caution.
