TOKYObay: Sometimes cramming clocks into robot bodies is enough

tokyobots.jpg

TOKYObay makes a lot of little trinkets, including some keychains and watch pocketwatches, but their robot clocks are really cute. Especially the “Tank” model in the middle.

They’re available in a variety of colors. Prices start at $36 for the smallest, up to $45 for good ol’ Tank there.

These are fantastic and I’ll probably give one as a Christmas gift. It’s pretty hard to tell the size of the clocks and the quality of the materials from the photos though.

I can’t put my finger on why, exactly, but the middle one looks wonderfully happy and pleased with himself.

I purchased one of these while in Tokyo several years ago. Mine is the Robot on the far left, and yellow. They are about 2.5-3″ tall. I do know I didn’t spend anywhere near $36-45$ on them. Had I known, Id bought a bunch and e-bayed them :( .

Oh, they’re delightful! They’d fit right into my little robot collection (both the collection and the robots are little). The descriptions they give on the website are pretty great as well.
