TOKYObay: Sometimes cramming clocks into robot bodies is enough

tokyobots.jpg

TOKYObay makes a lot of little trinkets, including some keychains and watch pocketwatches, but their robot clocks are really cute. Especially the "Tank" model in the middle.

They're available in a variety of colors. Prices start at $36 for the smallest, up to $45 for good ol' Tank there.

These are fantastic and I'll probably give one as a Christmas gift. It's pretty hard to tell the size of the clocks and the quality of the materials from the photos though.

Oh, they're delightful! They'd fit right into my little robot collection (both the collection and the robots are little). The descriptions they give on the website are pretty great as well.

I can't put my finger on why, exactly, but the middle one looks wonderfully happy and pleased with himself.

I purchased one of these while in Tokyo several years ago. Mine is the Robot on the far left, and yellow. They are about 2.5-3" tall. I do know I didn't spend anywhere near $36-45$ on them. Had I known, Id bought a bunch and e-bayed them :(.
