OSX Leopard on Dell Inspiron Mini

The steps to Leopard-ize the mini are actually quite simple and easy to follow. ... Once you complete the install all components except the wireless, ethernet, and sound worked. After some searching on the Dell forums I found two files that enabled the disabled Broadcom wireless adaptor and audio chipset.

They should do this for real. Here's an ad you could use, Apple:

So, do the audio ports work, unlike the Wind?

And there's no kext for the ethernet port? Aww...

Oh, the ethernet port does actually work. The original article corrected itself. Hooray!

I don't get it.. Ubuntu already runs on it, so why would you want OSX over Linux?

That's like asking why I would want to cook my dinner.

Too bad the Mini 9 doesn't contain a traditional hard drive. I believe it uses flash memory on a mini-pci express card, and is currently limited to 32 gigs -aftermarket, not from Dell (http://www.stec-inc.com/product/pci.php).

While the performance of these is pretty good, they might make for expensive upgrades in the future if you run out of space...
