Uneasy Silence gets Leopard running on Dell’s netbook.
The steps to Leopard-ize the mini are actually quite simple and easy to follow. … Once you complete the install all components except the wireless, ethernet, and sound worked. After some searching on the Dell forums I found two files that enabled the disabled Broadcom wireless adaptor and audio chipset.
They should do this for real. Here’s an ad you could use, Apple:

*crosses fingers*
So, do the audio ports work, unlike the Wind?
And there’s no kext for the ethernet port? Aww…
Oh, the ethernet port does actually work. The original article corrected itself. Hooray!
I don’t get it.. Ubuntu already runs on it, so why would you want OSX over Linux?
That’s like asking why I would want to cook my dinner.
Too bad the Mini 9 doesn’t contain a traditional hard drive. I believe it uses flash memory on a mini-pci express card, and is currently limited to 32 gigs -aftermarket, not from Dell (http://www.stec-inc.com/product/pci.php).
While the performance of these is pretty good, they might make for expensive upgrades in the future if you run out of space…
