The problem remains, as in earlier discussions of this image, that Mario has a considerable portion of his history, where he is not cruel to turtles in the least, be they ninja, teenagers, or whatever. And is actually dependant on Koopa.
Also, many are totally confused by the less familiar secondary TMNT characters. The Rat is recognized, but the girl and the Jason lookalike are strangers.
Oh please, who doesn't know who April and Casey Jones are?
April O'Neil was a central character in TMNT, and Casey Jones was well represented in the cartoon, at least one of the movies, and most importantly the original comics.
So yeah, anyone who has spent any time with the TMNT really should recognize those two.
