A shrine to Luddite.com

This weekend, it was noted that our love for wooden gadgets will never be the same: they are now making plastic ones with wood-grain stickers. Commenter Ted Johnson points to another sadness: Luddite.com is no longer the wonderful fake Wooden Computer parody site it used to be. He has a tribute to it up at his own site, and archive.org has a snapshot from the good old days—before it was made real by others, and finally knocked off by the crapvendors.
