For Halloween, build a “haunted” ouija board that can spell out messages sent to it via serial device. I’d call it a DIY project except all Ouija boards are DIY… this one at least wears its scamming pedigree on its Dracula sleeve.

Wow, nice to see a project of mine here on BoingBoing! It was made as a halloween prop, but I have had all sorts of reactions to it, from angry folk either because I am somehow scamming them (don’t quite get that one) or that I have now ruined the “illusion” – through to people wanting to buy one. Definately was fun to make and publish…
