Strange 3-in-1 USB hub: more TOS than TNG

Uh… what? The product description says it is a USB powered “luminous clock, loud speaker and HUB” all in one. But does it even really matter? Anything that looks this retro-futuristically Star Trek deserves a place on my computer desk, especially at only $18.

If it had an iphone dock, I’d be all over it.
If it had an iphone dock and a toilet paper roller below, I’d get it for the bathroom. (Then I could safely test the “brown” noise on the Ambiance app.)

It will be mine..oh yes…it will be mine. In fact, it already is

  3. tcadell says:

Actually, it doesn’t say USB powered, it says “Using 4 x AAA Batteries (Battery not included)”

  4. 13enster says:

I bet the batteries are just for when your computer is powered down.

  5. SamSam says:

I see a wi-fi connectivity via USB, more USB ports and a speaker: Tell me it can play music streaming from a computer, and directly from a USB stick!!!

Errr… probably not for 18 bucks. And I guess the speaker is just for the audio jack…

  6. Anonymous says:

Forget the hub, where can I get that santa USB stick?

    Sweet Zombie Jesus!

I have NO space for that on my cramped computer desk, and yet, I MUST HAVE THIS! I can justify it by the fact that sometimes, the menubar clock on the Mac is not visible, and that the need to know the correct time is a moral imperative! I can’t imagine finding the room for this, but it will be done!

Could it have any more LEDs? Yes, yes it could. Everything COULD have more LEDs.

And yes, this is SO right off the bridge of the Enterprise, it brings tears to the eyes.
