You know, I was just trying to decide between Obama and McCain.

I mean, I know that ONE of them is the final cylon, I’m just not sure who.

Obama’s got an incredibly smart marketing group working with him. I wish they hadn’t waited this long to do an ad that breaks away from the boring formula of a typical campaign ad.

  3. schmod says:

Well, McCain’s clearly not the final Cylon, given that we already know that he’s *a* Cylon, but not the final one.

Robocalls without humans are illegal here in Minnesota(that hasn’t always stopped the GOP) but we have been getting a special version of a robocall that I call a “Zombie call” -it’s a live human alright -but you can’t talk to them! They blast through their spiel and hang up!

Only today did we get our first report of a GOP caller actually engaging a voter in any kind of conversation.

The GOP does not seem to want to talk to voters (big surprise there). Us Dems are highly organized here in MN and we have spent a good deal of time engaging voters, making a point of asking what concerns they have and being generally available to answer questions. A good deal of our time is spent debunking the shockingly vile slime they are throwing against Al Franken.

Zombiecalls and voter prevention efforts as well as the steamrolling propaganda machine show the contempt the GOP has for voters and the democratic process.

I mean, what does it say about a party that feels low voter turnout actually helps them?!

    man, i like this guy…

i mean, stuff like this shows that not only does he have a clever marketing machine but, most importantly, that he has a sense of humor. Same goes with his appearance on the Daily Show… And a sense of HUMOR vs. simple rebuttals/defensiveness shows a distinct confidence in himself and what he is representing. McCain on the other hand.. sigh… He’s that retarded kid in the school track meet who you’re like “well, you might as well finish the race so you can show that you tried…”

PS. I apologize to the mentally handicapped out there. McCain doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with you cause there is nothing special about him.

You know, Gort (pictured in 4 above) was a good guy, as robots went, so it sort of works against the message.

This is confusing as Fred Sandford being married to Weezie Jefferson.
