Besides the useless and strangely hobbit sized U820, the other Fujitsu Lifebook of the day is the N7010, which has one rather neat flourish distinguishing it from your average laptop: there’s a tiny 4-inch touchscreen embedded above the keyboard.
Fujitsu’s recommending it be used as an Optimus style app launcher, but it’s actually a very small secondary monitor: you can drag anything down there. You could make it a widget holder, an email notifier, or even do some very tiny Photoshop doodling inside it.
Otherwise, it’s fairly typical, with a 2.26 GHz Core 2 Du, a 16-inch LCD, a Blu-Ray drive, up to 4GB of RAM, a 256MB ATI HD 3470 GPU and a multi-touch trackpad, all for a retail price starting at $1500.
