David Ericsson's VOID v.01 watches

I suspect the VOID watch, designed by Swedish designer David Ericsson, looks better against the backdrop of an ascetic white backdrop than on a hairy, sweat-dolloped wrist, but its bold face design and grey-on-black LCD digits certainly make more of an impression on me than Tokyoflash's random assortment of bleeping lights. It even comes with a non-sensical Buddhist credo: according to the designer, the face "could represent the duality of life; like the yin and yang, the past and future, love and hate, right or wrong." Could, but doesn't. It's a watch.

Usually I hate lcd watches because the numbers and especially the background are so drab and washed out looking compared to everything else. These look somewhat better, but not much.
