Stitch humidifier retches moist air into your face

stitchhumidifier.jpgEven if I didn't already like Disney's Lilo and Stitch — I thought it was one of the better outings from Disney in an otherwise dismal decade — I'd adore this Stitch Hudifier. It emits a constant gaseous belch of misty air from its toothy maw, keeping winter air breathable and teaching kids the rudiments of French kissing.

Criminally, it's available only in Japan for well over a hundred bucks.

Sweet!

Definitely better than most recent Disney movies, too. Lilo is a much more likable character than their usual WASPs.

And her older sister? Oh yeah! I don't go for willowy.

I'm a pretty big Stitch fan, myself. I lobbied to name our dog Stitch but boyfriend nixed that. We settled on Pocky.
That said, as much as I love the idea of a Stitch humidifier belching into the air periodically, it's been my experience that these nebulizing humidifiers just leave a big puddle on the floor and very little moisture gets into the air. I gave up on them a few years ago.

I keep wondering about the actual size of this thing ... the mouth / body proportion .. it does not seem too have too much space for water ... or it is just silly big overall ..

But yes .. Lilo and Stitch is a great movie and kiddo loves it

Speaking of "teaching kids the rudiments of French kissing", the absolute worst movie tie-in in the history of movie tie-ins was a Star Wars Jar Jar Binks toy that was this sort of bizarro-Pez thing that, when you pressed a switch on the base of it, Jar Jar's jaws opened and he extended a sour-candy tongue for you to suck on. I still have mine somewhere.
