Attractive toilet paper roll requires solving an obnoxious puzzle
Oh, yes, this is what you need: a puzzle game to be solved and separated before toilet paper can be dispensed. I'm sure that this sort of thing seems very clever to a jokester, right before a guest they overloaded with brain puts his guest towels to ingenious use. That said, this is still one of the more attractive looking toilet paper dispensers I've seen... for $20, I'm almost willing to side with aesthetics and just deal with the cries of outrage bellowing from behind my bathroom's closed door.

Is it before it can be dispensed? It looks more like it requires solving the puzzle in order to change the roll. Which, in my house, would mean that the new roll would just get set on top of it. :)

I've always been against scissors in the bathroom, for obvious reasons, but I might now be relaxing that rule.

Doesn't look like much of a puzzle. More like a decorative clasp. I guess you don't want a brain bending exercise in topology when you're dropping a deuce.

I agree about it not being much of a puzzle ... I can tell just by the pic how to open it!
Still, if I can't get the hubby to change the roll out NOW, imagine with a whole new step to the process? Like Ryan said ... new roll perching on it would be the result.
