Chromochrome, clock of colors

Each position represents part of the time—two hours, two minutes, and two seconds—and the color at each position represents the numeral. Simple, ingenious, and completely incomprehensible!

Brown and gray don't make good led colors so they used pink and cyan repectively. Otherwise, it's the resistor code!

I want. Now, I need to sit down with the old clock chip I've got, and work out a series of transistors and diodes that will let me do this myself.
