Honestly? Since when are fingerless gloves "cunning"? I've own a pair for years and they've been around for centuries.
Two review roundups I'd love to see here on boingboing gadgets:
1.) fingerless gloves
2.) liquor flasks
(Clearly this is leading to life as a hobo.)
British army snipers have had gloves with no forefinger or thumb for years.
The sad thing is (or what I believe to be the sad thing, no facts here): I'm sure there are just enough Apple fanboys||doofuses||zealots that will actually buy these for the reasons advertised to make the evil geniusses at etretouchy rich.
Horribly disappointing - I suspect you post this in jest because no one could possibly mistake fingerless gloves for being new or innovative but really was it worth the even the insignificant trouble of making the post?
And that is an insanely inflated price for gloves that can be had for less than $5 at any number of retailers.
Of course it's a joke.
No! No it's not! Unyielding and total evidence that you and Boing Boing and Gadgets and the universe have completely and irreversibly jumped the shark! BAH!!
[gentle sobbing]
"...And that is an insanely inflated price for gloves that can be had for less than $5 at any number of retailers."
Less than $2 at the 7-11 down the street.
Point of fact, these are slightly different than average, 7-11 fingerless gloves in that the lesser fingers are entirely covered, so balking at a lack of originality isn't entirely justified.
They are too expensive though.
Frankly, I'd rather have these for smoke breaks, when I'm banished outside. Having the thumb and forefinger is perfect for preserving the characteristic Bogart pinch.
$2 gloves, scissors, cigarette lighter.
Done.
I'm not convinced, Randalll. Namely because I've tried it. The bespoke smoking gloves tend to fray and come apart quickly. They didn't last through a single Midwest winter.
The sad thing is, Garr, you're a compulsive Apple hater.
