The Nailbrush... tetanus shots extra

nailbrush.jpg

Start with the coiffureage, end with a home trepanation! All for $35.

The item's description contains this priceless detail about the German factory in which the nailbrush is made:

The nail brush is made in a former school for the blind. The company now employs blind people to produce these extraordinary and functional brush items.

I like imagining this workshop for the blind, filled with gossamer-haired workmen with long, shimmering locks immaculately brushed over their pulsating skull holes.

Ok, I can't let multiple errors pass...

1) tetanus is not caused by nails, rusty or otherwise...it's caused by bacteria found in the wild. Pure coincidence. (Got your vaccination in the last 10 years?)

2) it'd be awfully hard to trepanate with the head of the nail in the way. Sure you could pierce the scalp, good luck making your way through the skull.

Otherwise a beautiful product, thanks for the link. For an equivalent company in the US, look up "Skilcraft".

If one steps on an old rusty nail, and it pops out the top of one's boot, tetanus vaccination is well advised.

Speaking from experience, here. Twice, actually... hmm, there's probably a few more morals to those stories.. let's see:

Don't tear apart old wooden buildings in the dark by yourself... don't get in fights in a yard strewn with naily old fence pales... keep your tetanus up to date... wait until you get to the doctor or emergency room before removing objects entirely penetrating limbs... you have to take the nail out before you can remove a boot nailed to your foot... a claw hammer is the best tool for removing nails from booted feet... don't bother trying to clean or clip off the protruding portion of a nail through your foot, it's not worth the effort... that's all I can think of at the moment.

Oh, yeah, and also, my life is a soap opera.

Well, the way that stepping on a nail would wound you, you can introduce bacteria deep inside an anaerobic environment that would allow tetanus to flourish.

Uh, it's literally a nail brush, you know for nails? However jamming that nail into a cuticle probably isn't any more pleasant than poking a temple.
