Compare Natalie "Kommodore" Thompson to the infamous Zune Guy.
Zune Guy had a Microsoft logo tattooed on him to show his appreciation
for a brown iPod clone. Then he got sick of it, and got upset at
Microsoft in lieu of getting upset at himself. Then he got it removed.
No-one won, except the gods of schadenfreude.
Kommodore, however, got inked with the Android robot to demonstrate
her abiding commitment to open-source software. Everyone wins.
Except Tux.
Tux is sad, because he’s shiny and fat and has creepy eyes and the top
hit for "Tux Tat" at Google leads to a 43Things page.

@#10, it may seem like a pointless point, but if she is a FOSS fan, maybe she didn’t want to use myspace?

?!
Flickr photo no worky. The Engadget link does have the photo but the URL is wrong. It should be like so.
Awesome tattoo. She’s lovely. Note to lucky guy/girl she’s with: Marry her!
Marry me, hot nerd girl!
Yay! Let’s hope 2009 is the year of sensible comments. I was expecting to see a whole load of ‘Tattoos are ugly’ style comments that normally appear when a tattoo is posted.
Fixed the link. I deleted the flickr photo by mistake (Was testing Amazing Blog Feature)
Of course there are Tux tats! Come on Rob! http://techrepublic.com.com/2346-22_11-197338-26.html
The nice thing about the android logo is that it has that japanese ‘kawaii’ feel to it.
I still lead by one robot tattoo ^_^
Her MySpace account only seems to have been set up yesterday, conveniently right when this story started making the rounds on the blogosphere! I’m slightly suspicious, and would find this story more satisfying if she was an active member of the open source community or previously existed elsewhere on the internet (or maybe I’m not looking hard enough). But who am I to question cute nerdy girls who materialize out of thin air?
How this woman did not make TinyNibbles top 10 sexy geeks list is waaaaaaay beyond me.
