As long as we're meta, I take my hat off to Rob for his impeccable talent for translating comedic timing to writing. The split second lag induced by the line break between paragraphs makes the post much funnier than it has any business being.
Also, it's been awhile since Joel has inserted a dick joke via asterisked fine print. I miss those.
Brownlee continues to make me feel like I'll never write anything worth sharing in my entire life. I'm slowly growing used to the sense of unshakable inadequacy inspired by his posts.

Come now, Danilo. Don't get so down. I, too, appreciate the fine prose put forth from Messieurs Boing. As skilled craftsmen in their trade, you should be inspired, not downtrodden. Allow Brownlee's linguistic arabesques and caustic satire to lift you up, not keep you down.
If you're still having trouble, just make greater use of the words "omphalos," "brainpan" and "cthonic." Alternatively, stick to anatomical motifs and use a good thesaurus. These techniques seem to bring out the Brownlee flavor most effectively.
(I jest with the utmost respect for John. I promise.)
Press what? I don't see any "event" key...
